Vishnu Priya Murali

Vishnu Priya Murali has a solid background in research and project management. Vishnu Priya is currently working as a Clinical Research Project Manager at MicroPort Orthopedics. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing and managing clinical research projects.

Prior to their current position, Vishnu Priya worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Florida State University from November 2019 to October 2021. During this time, their research focused on evaluating the interactions between exosomes and surface coatings composed of extracellular matrix proteins and glycosaminoglycans. Vishnu Priya utilized various techniques such as Dynamic Light Scattering, nanoparticle tracking analysis, electron microscopy, immunoblotting, FACS analysis, and ELISA to characterize exosomes and exosome-loaded coatings. Additionally, they investigated the effects of exosome surface coatings on mesenchymal stem cell functions.

Before their postdoctoral position, Vishnu Priya served as a Graduate Assistant at The University of Memphis from August 2015 to October 2019. Vishnu Priya 'smain responsibilities included fabricating chitosan-based scaffolds for drug delivery and tissue engineering applications. Vishnu Priya also operated various analytical instruments such as HPLC, SEM, DLS, EDS, XPS, and FTIR. Additionally, they developed HPLC protocols for drug analysis and trained new users on the equipment.

Vishnu Priya Murali has a strong education background in the field of biomedical/medical engineering. Vishnu Priya earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from The University of Memphis between 2015 and 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Nanosciences & Technology at Amrita Center for Nanosciences and Molecular Medicine from 2013 to 2015. Vishnu Priya 'sundergraduate studies were carried out at Sathyabama University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from 2008 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Vishnu Priya Murali also holds a certification in "Design and Interpretation of Clinical Trials" from Coursera, which they obtained in November 2020.
