Jonathan Tranel

Jonathan Tranel is a researcher at Sahlgrenska Academy at the University of Gothenburg since May 2024 and currently serves as an Installation and Application Specialist at Micropos Medical AB. Previously, Jonathan held the position of postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, San Francisco from January 2020 to December 2022, and was a PhD student at Inserm from December 2015 to March 2019, focusing on multimodality imaging for radioactive source distribution in microbrachytherapy. Additionally, Jonathan's experience includes a guest PhD position at UMC Utrecht and a medical physicist residency at Hopital Tenon. Educational qualifications encompass a PhD in Radiophysics and Medical Imaging from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III, along with multiple certifications and degrees in medical physics from prestigious institutions.
