MICROS South Africa was formed in February 1997 with the acquisition of the MICROS distributor rights for Southern Africa. It’s head office is based at Adapt IT Campus, 152 14th Road, Midrand with regional branches in Cape Town, Gqeberha and Durban.

Effective from 10 May 2017, Adapt IT has acquired 100 percent of Micros South Africa, its intellectual property and all employees, which will now form part of Adapt IT. Micros South Africa (Pty) Ltd. continues to operate as before, leveraging the Adapt IT brand across industry sectors.

Micros South Africa currently employs over 300 installation technicians, trainers, point of sale hardware specialist, point of sale software specialists and account management personal. Our staff are specifically chosen from the hospitality industry as the core of our business is to know your business.

We operate a 24/7 call centre offering comprehensive support services to our current install base in excess of 3000 restaurants and 500 hotels.
