Mariaisabel Johnston

Mariaisabel Johnston is a skilled geophysicist with extensive experience in geophysical data analysis. Currently serving as Geophysicist II at MicroSeismic, Inc. since March 2022, Mariaisabel specializes in geophysical data analysis. Previously, as a Development Geologist at Chevron from January 2019 to December 2021, Mariaisabel contributed to the heavy oil Boscan field in Venezuela, performing structural and stratigraphic interpretations using the Petrel E&P software. Mariaisabel's earlier roles include Geophysicist at Hill Geophysical Consulting, where well data research and petrophysical analysis were conducted, and an internship at ION Geophysical, focusing on integrating seismic and microseismic data. Mariaisabel holds a Master of Science in Subsurface Geosciences from Rice University, a Master of Science in Geophysics from the University of Houston, and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics and Geosciences from The University of Tulsa.
