Fion Liu

Fion (Sha) Liu is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the AI and automotive industries. Currently serving as Director of Corporate BD, Strategy & Investment in Industrial AI at Microsoft since October 2022, Fion leads corporate strategy and complex partnerships for the Manufacturing and Mobility AI sector. Previously, Fion held the position of Director of AI for Autonomous Transport at Microsoft, focusing on strategic initiatives and partnerships in the autonomous transport domain. Fion's career includes serving as Head of Global Strategy & Partnerships at DiDi, where complex negotiations with automotive OEMs and tech companies were a primary focus, and as Head of Product Strategy & Partnerships for Autonomous Driving at Baidu USA, developing strategies for the Apollo platform and leading international partnerships. Earlier roles at General Motors, Mercedes-Benz, and Daimler Chrysler included contributions to corporate finance, product strategy, and new business development. Fion holds an MBA from Yale University and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Peking University.
