Gina Marie Hatheway is a seasoned cybersecurity leader at Microsoft, currently serving as the National Lead for Cybersecurity, State and Local Government, where leadership involves guiding a team of senior cybersecurity professionals to assist government clients. Previous roles at Microsoft include Senior Director for Northeast Commercial Accounts and Senior Director of Security, Compliance, and Identity, contributing to significant security solution deployments and leading teams across the US and Latin America. Prior to joining Microsoft, Gina held key positions including Deputy Director of Government Relations at the Heritage Foundation, Senior Foreign Policy Advisor in the U.S. Senate, and Professional Staff Member on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Gina holds a Master's in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and dual Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Spanish from UC Irvine.
