Hossein Nowbar serves as Microsoft’s Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Vice President, guiding a team that supports the company's global operations across engineering, marketing, and sales in over 100 countries. Previously, Hossein held positions including General Counsel for Corporate and Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretary, as well as Corporate Vice President and Deputy General Counsel focused on the Cloud and Artificial Intelligence Business. In these roles, Hossein led legal strategies concerning intellectual property, antitrust, privacy, and regulatory compliance for various Microsoft products. Before joining Microsoft, Hossein practiced law at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP. Hossein holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Washington School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Washington.
