Immad Naseer has extensive experience in software engineering, beginning with a role as a Software Engineer at Matrix Systems Pvt Ltd from August 2005 to August 2006, where development of an IDE for a Smalltalk-inspired language was undertaken. Following this, Immad served as a Research Assistant at the University of British Columbia from January 2007 to May 2009, conducting research on aspect-oriented programming. Immad then worked as a Software Engineer at PointyHat Software from May 2010 to September 2011, where the development of an isomorphic JavaScript application framework was managed. Currently, since October 2011, Immad holds the position of Principal Software Engineer at Microsoft, contributing to blockchain initiatives within the Azure Blockchain team, specifically leading efforts to integrate Corda. Educational qualifications include a B.S. in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia.
