Katrine Rasmussen is an experienced Quantum Measurement Engineer with a strong academic background in Physics and Quantum Physics, having obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics and a Master's degree in Quantum Physics from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen. Katrine began a career as a Research Assistant at the Center for Quantum Devices at the Niels Bohr Institute, focusing on the fractional quantum Hall effect under the supervision of professor Charles Marcus. Following graduation, Katrine joined Microsoft Quantum in Denmark as a Quantum Measurement Engineer, contributing to the experimental electrical characterization team and later rejoining the team after maternity leave to work on hardware development for Microsoft's topological quantum computer.
