Nonye Ujam is currently the Government Affairs Lead at Microsoft, where they focus on advocating for policies that foster sustainable development in West Africa. Nonye's prior roles include serving as a Special Adviser on Sustainable Development Goals at the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and various positions at the Central Bank of Nigeria, including Quality and Compliance Specialist. Additionally, they have consulted on project management for private sector clients from 2007 to 2013. Nonye holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Liberal Arts in Global Development Practice from Harvard University, where they won the Dean’s Prize for Outstanding ALM Capstone in 2024. They are also pursuing graduate diplomas in Environmental Policy and Social Justice at Harvard Extension School.
