Trevor Dhu has extensive experience in geoscience and environmental management, having held various leadership roles at Geoscience Australia from 2015 to 2017, including Program Director for Digital Earth Australia, where supervised the development of a significant big data platform for satellite data analytics. Additional leadership roles included A/g Branch Head, overseeing the National Earth and Marine Observations Branch, and Section Leader for Natural Hazard Impacts, where led a team to innovate risk assessment techniques. Previously, from 2009 to 2013, Trevor Dhu served as Director for AusAID Indonesia, significantly impacting disaster risk management in Southeast Asia. Currently, Trevor Dhu is engaged with Microsoft as a Senior Risk Manager and Asia Lead for Sustainability Science & Innovation, contributing to ambitious sustainability goals and development of the Planetary Computer platform.
