Charlotte Overwijk

Charlotte Overwijk has been working in the mechanical engineering field since 2018. Charlotte began their career as the Secretary for the Sportkoepel Universiteit Twente. Charlotte then moved on to become the Treasurer for Groot Nederlands Studenten Kampioenschap and the Secretary for Stichting Kantine Sportcentrum Universiteit Twente. In 2020, they took on a role as a Stagiair at ItoM Medical. Currently, Charlotte is a Mechanical Developer and Verification Engineer at Microsure and a Mechanical Engineer at TMC. During their time as Secretary for Sportkoepel Universiteit Twente, they were responsible for representing the student sports clubs to the University Sports Centre, Student Union, Board of Directors and Student Sports Netherlands. Charlotte also worked to professionalize the organization and document processes through contracts and cooperation agreements. Additionally, they were responsible for the distribution of subsidies for the sports clubs and creating a new vision for sport.

Charlotte Overwijk obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biomedische technologie (Biomedical engineering) from the University of Twente in 2018. Charlotte then went on to pursue a Master of Science - MS in Biomedical engineering; Biorobotics from the University of Twente, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Prior to that, they attended Drachtster Lyceum from 2009 to 2015. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Eerste hulp bij psychische problemen from MHFA Nederland in 2019.
