Evan S. Brown

Evan S. Brown is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in corporate sustainability and program management. Currently serving as the Director of Corporate Sustainability at MAA, Evan leads initiatives focused on efficient resource consumption, clean energy, and carbon reduction strategies while managing ESG functions and a team of experts. Previous roles include Senior Manager of the Proposal Design Hub at Heifer International, where Evan oversaw project due diligence and led the development of substantial funding proposals. As co-founder of SROI and Living Income methodologies, Evan contributed to significant economic modeling and impact investment tools across multiple regions. Additional experience includes leadership roles in various organizations, including Partners in Knowledge, Community Resource Group, and the United States Peace Corps, complemented by academic credentials in Development Economics and International Development.
