Laura Thompson is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in capital and corporate accounting. Currently serving as a Senior Capital Accountant at MAA since April 2022, Laura has previously held positions at Multi-South Management Services as a Corporate Accountant, and at Your Accounting Advisor as an Accounting Intern. Laura's early career includes roles as a Sales Associate at Office Depot and a Cashier at The Michaels Companies, Inc. Educational credentials include a Master of Business Administration from the University of Memphis, alongside a Bachelor's degree and an Associate's degree in Accounting from the University of Mississippi and Northwest Mississippi Community College, respectively. Laura's foundational education was completed at Hernando High School.
