Erica Alvarez-Stanton

Executive Director of Community Outreach & Services at Mid-America Christian University

Erica Alvarez-Stanton is an accomplished education professional with extensive experience in admissions, community outreach, and diversity initiatives. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Admissions and Community Outreach at Mid-America Christian University since December 2021, Erica has previously held significant roles at Rose State College, including Chief Diversity Officer and adjunct professor, where responsibilities encompassed teaching College Orientation and Introduction to Diversity. Erica's experience also includes the position of Director of Graduation and Coordinator for Recruitment and Community Outreach, focusing on bilingual recruitment and outreach strategies. Earlier teaching experience includes serving as an English as a Second Language Teacher at Oklahoma City Community College and involvement with the Last Frontier Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Erica holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education/Teacher Education from McPherson College and a Master of Education in Bilingual Education/Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of Central Oklahoma. Additional studies were completed at Mid-America Christian University.
