From our founding goal to assist in the coordination of kidney donations, we have grown to become a multi-faceted organization dedicated to saving lives and enhancing the quality of all donated organs and tissues currently available for transplant. Located in Saint Louis, Missouri, Mid-America is one of 56 federally designated organizations of its kind in the United States. Mid-America Transplant's primary service offering is to facilitate and coordinate the organ and tissue donation process. With a mission to save lives through excellence in organ and tissue donation, we have been at the forefront of enhancing the quality of organs and tissue for transplant and a leader in eye bank services. Throughout our history, we have relentlessly pursued our core values of compassion, collaboration, excellence, innovation, integrity, and stewardship to create a positive donation experience for Donor Families, which is at the heart of what matters most to Mid-America Transplant.
