Dee (Preston) Anderson has extensive experience in public education, community engagement, and customer service, currently serving as the Public Education & DMV Coordinator at Mid-America Transplant since May 2013, with additional roles including Donor Family Communications Coordinator and Community Engagement Coordinator. Responsibilities include developing outreach initiatives and serving as a primary contact for registry efforts. Previous roles include Team Lead Manager at Roberts & Roberts and Associates, where exceptional customer service was emphasized, and administrative roles at Millennium Force, Caroline Apartments, and Food For Less, showcasing a diverse skill set in management, office administration, and customer relations.

Since 1974, Mid-America Transplant has served as the regional organ and tissue procurement organization for eastern Missouri, southern Illinois, and northeast Arkansas, serving 4.7 million people in 84 counties. From our founding goal to assist in the coordination of kidney donations, we have grown to become a multi-faceted organization dedicated to saving lives and enhancing the quality of all donated organs and tissues currently available for transplant. Located in Saint Louis, Missouri, Mid-America is one of 56 federally designated organizations of its kind in the United States. Mid-America Transplant's primary service offering is to facilitate and coordinate the organ and tissue donation process. With a mission to save lives through excellence in organ and tissue donation, we have been at the forefront of enhancing the quality of organs and tissue for transplant and a leader in eye bank services.
