Andrea McCoy

Andrea McCoy is a seasoned professional in library management, currently serving as the Assistant Branch Manager III at Mid-Continent Public Library since August 2019, after previously holding the role of Assistant Branch Manager II at the Platte City and Weston branches. With extensive experience in facility management from Remington Nature Center, where Andrea managed staff, payroll, and day-to-day operations from March 2009 to August 2019, and as Exhibit/Event Coordinator/Interim Manager for the City of St. Joseph, responsibilities included planning successful events and managing volunteers. Earlier experience at PFI Western Store involved overseeing internet operations and customer service. Andrea holds a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications from the College of the Ozarks.
