Matt Habash has extensive leadership experience, currently serving as President and CEO of Mid-Ohio Food Collective since June 1984. Previously, Matt was a member of the Columbus City Council from January 1993 to January 2007, holding the position of President from November 1999 to January 2007. Educationally, Matt earned a Master of Business Administration in General Business from Xavier University's Williams College of Business (1985-1987), a Master of Arts in Public Administration from The Ohio State University (1979-1981), and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Xavier University (1974-1978).

Since 1980, the Mid-Ohio Food Collective has strived to make nutritious food accessible to those in our communities experiencing food insecurity, distributing millions of pounds of food per year — over half of which is fresh — to 20 counties across central and eastern Ohio.
