Dan Miller

Principal Engineer, Integrity Management at MidAmerican Energy Company

Dan Miller has over 19 years of work experience in the energy industry. Dan started their career at Nicor Gas as a System Planner and Design Engineer from 2000 to 2002. Dan then moved on to EN Engineering, LLC where they held various roles including Design Engineer, Senior Design Engineer, and Project Manager from 2002 to 2008. Since 2008, Dan has been working at MidAmerican Energy Company where they have held positions such as Senior Engineer, Gas Engineering; Manager, Distribution Integrity Management, Gas Engineering; Program Manager - DIMP; and their current role as Principal Engineer, Integrity Management.

Dan Miller has a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Dakota State University. Dan also holds an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Engineering from Casper Community College. In addition, they have a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University. Dan is also certified as a CP-1 Cathodic Protection Tester by NACE International.
