Michelle Payne

Michelle Payne has extensive experience at MidAmerican Energy Company, where roles have included Manager of New Technology & Innovation, overseeing complex information systems projects; Manager of Gas Operations, ensuring regulatory compliance in natural gas facilities; and Manager of Compliance Programs, focusing on engineering services for regulatory adherence. Additional positions held include Supervisor roles in Gas & Electric Operations and Engineering, Energy Delivery Analyst providing process improvement insights, and Software Systems Integration Lead on a temporary project. Prior experience includes serving as an Operations Specialist with the City of Iowa City and being an elected official on the city council.
