Jerry McDonald

Jerry McDonald has a diverse work experience in the culinary industry. Jerry started their career in 1996 as an Executive Sous Chef at Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, where they worked until 1999. Jerry then worked as an Executive Chef/Executive Sous Chef at the Crowne Plaza Hotel for a few months before joining Bob Evans Farms as a Product Development Chef from 1999 to 2001.

From 2001 to 2005, Jerry worked at Viands Concerted (National Food Products) as the Chief Culinary Officer/Chief Operating Officer. Jerry was responsible for sales and sales growth of national chain accounts, culinary focus, product research and development, quality assurance and control, safety and sanitation, and imaging based on culinary trends.

Jerry then joined KOMAZA LLC in 2005, where they served as President. In this role, they were responsible for various tasks including sales and sales growth of national chain and industrial accounts, culinary focus, product research and development, quality assurance and control, safety and sanitation, and imaging based on culinary trends. Jerry also developed all new food products for current and prospective customers.

After working at KOMAZA, Jerry joined JES Foods in 2008 as the Vice President of Operations. Jerry held this position until 2013 before transitioning to MiDAS Foods International as the VP Culinary, where they currently work.

Throughout their career, Jerry has demonstrated expertise in culinary innovation, sales, product development, quality assurance, and control. Jerry has also been involved in developing business and marketing plans, as well as managing large chain and industrial sales accounts.

Jerry McDonald attended Columbus State Community College from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Hospitality Management. Additionally, they pursued a Formal Apprenticeship program in Culinary Arts and Sciences at the same institution. Finally, they acquired another AAS degree from Columbus State Community College, although the field of study is unspecified.
