Oliver Freichel has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Oliver served as the Managing Director of Midas Healthcare, where they established a B2C business unit and led consulting projects in M&A, divestitures, and business development. Prior to that, they worked at Sanofi as Vice President and Head of Sanofi CHC Partnering, Executive Board Member of Digital Innovation Hub Creasphere, and Vice President and Global Head of Business Development & Strategy for Sanofi Consumer Healthcare. Oliver also held the position of Executive Board Member at Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical Co., Inc. Sanofi JV. Before joining Sanofi, they worked at Boehringer Ingelheim in various roles, including Corporate Vice President of Business Development, Strategy & RX to OTC Switches, and Corporate Director - Global Head of RX-to-OTC Switches. Oliver started their career at 3M Health Care in various marketing positions in the pharmaceutical business.
Oliver Freichel received a Master's degree in Pharmacy from the Universität des Saarlandes in 1992-1995. Oliver then went on to pursue a Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Technology from the University of Düsseldorf from 1997-2000. During the same time period, they also obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration from Paderborn University and a Diplom Kaufmann (equivalent to a Master's degree) in Business Administration from FernUniversität in Hagen.
