Oliver Weyand began their work experience in 2001 as a Clinical Pharmacist at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals (BSUH) in the UK. From 2003 to 2004, they served as a Project Manager for Regulatory Affairs & Pharmaceutical Development at Alfred E. Tiefenbacher GmbH & Co. KG. In 2005, they joined betapharm Arzneimittel GmbH as the Head of Business Development until 2008. From 2008 to 2009, they worked at Price Waterhouse Coopers as a Senior Manager. Since 2009, they have been the Managing Director at Midas Pharma.
Oliver Weyand's education history includes a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from The University of Bonn, obtained between 1997 and 2001. Prior to that, they completed a Pharmacist degree in Pharmacy from the same university from 1992 to 1996. In 2003 to 2004, they pursued a Master of Drug Regulatory Affairs at DGRA. Continuing their studies, Oliver Weyand completed an MBA in General Management from the University of Augsburg and the University of Pittsburgh, USA, from 2006 to 2007. Lastly, in 2010 to 2011, they attended The University of Chicago - Booth School of Business for an Advanced Development Program (ADP) in Executive Education.
