Alex Heinert is an experienced broadcaster currently serving as the lead play-by-play voice for CBS Sports Network's coverage of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) and Summit League Basketball since January 2021. Additionally, Alex has been an on-air personality at Midco Sports Network since March 2014, leading play-by-play for University of North Dakota hockey, soccer, volleyball, and softball, while also contributing to storytelling and production for various programs. Prior experience includes a role as a sports broadcaster at Midwest Communications, Inc. and as Director of Student Services and Residence Life at the University of Sioux Falls. Alex holds a Master of Education from the University of Sioux Falls and a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies and History from the same institution.
