Ahmed Qandil has a diverse range of experience in various roles and companies. Ahmed began their career as an Online Ops Controller at I & Q Internet Services in 2006. In 2007, they worked as an Online Sales Coordinator at Jeeran and later as a GCC Account Manager at Connect Ads. From 2010 to 2011, Ahmed served as a Digital Planning Supervisor at MEC.
Their work experience at MBC Group started in 2011, where they initially served as a Marketing Manager for Shahid until 2014. Ahmed then transitioned to the role of Head of Product Management for Shahid from 2012 to 2020. During this time, Ahmed led the successful relaunch of Shahid's platform with a focus on user experience, design, and integrations.
Since 2020, Ahmed has been the Director of Product Management for Shahid, where they have been responsible for enhancing the value and performance of the platform across different platforms and devices. Most recently, they have taken on the role of Director of Growth, Brand Marketing, and Communications for Shahid, overseeing marketing, customer growth, and retention, as well as content protection and anti-piracy efforts.
Ahmed Qandil holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Hult International Business School. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language for Applied Studies at Jordan University of Science and Technology. Additionally, Ahmed has obtained certifications such as Certified Product Marketing Manager and Certified Product Manager (CPM) from AIPMM The Association of International Product Marketing and Management, in December 2015 and March 2013 respectively.
