Mahmoud Abdelbadie

Mahmoud AbdelBadie has a diverse and extensive work experience. Mahmoud is currently serving as the Head of Enterprise PMO & Transformation at MBC GROUP since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at ADXP Consultancy from November 2019 to October 2021, where they led projects and programs related to operational excellence and digital transformation for government entities.

From 2017 to 2019, Mahmoud worked at Meydan Group as a Senior PMO Manager in the Centre of Excellence, focusing on digital transformation and operational excellence.

Before joining Meydan Group, they held various roles at Vodafone from 2003 to 2017. Mahmoud served as the Group PMO Manager in the Business Excellence & Digital Transformation department from September 2013 to November 2017. Mahmoud also worked as an IT Transformation Project Manager and a PMO Officer in the Corporate Planning & Development team. Mahmoud started their career at Vodafone as a Service Management Analyst and later worked as a Strategic Business Unit Executive.

Earlier in their career, they worked at Orange as a Commercial Operations | Enterprise Account Executive in 2003 and at OSN as a Corporate Activation Executive and a Customer Complaints Agent from 2001 to 2003.

In 2000, Mahmoud worked as a Compliance Specialist at Orascom Development Holding, where they participated in investigations related to non-compliance and was involved in the validation process and method transfer.

Mahmoud AbdelBadie's education history begins in 1999 when they enrolled at Cairo University to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management. Mahmoud completed this program in 2003.

In 2010, Mahmoud obtained the ITIL® V3 certification from APMG International.

Mahmoud continued their education in 2017, obtaining multiple certifications from various institutions. In 2022, Mahmoud began pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Strategic Business Change and Leadership from Cardiff Metropolitan University. This program is expected to be completed in 2024.

Additionally, Mahmoud completed an Extended Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership from Westford University College in 2023.
