Shady Sakhel

Shady Sakhel has a diverse work experience. Since May 2022, they have been working as a Business Intelligence Analyst at MBC GROUP. In this role, they collaborate with digital and TV business teams to track and analyze key performance metrics, develops user-friendly business reports and interactive dashboards, and conducts informative sessions and trainings for business users.

Prior to that, from October 2014 to May 2022, they worked at Petrofac as a Proposals & Projects Execution Engineer. In this role, they led bidding activities, identified risks and opportunities, initiated value engineering studies, and liaised with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.

Before joining Petrofac, from December 2013 to October 2014, Shady worked as a Sales Engineer at Mohamed Abdulrahman Al Bahar. Here, they managed key existing accounts, expanded the business profile by prospecting new customers, and presented Caterpillar's solutions value to clients' needs.

Shady Sakhel obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the American University of Sharjah, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their degree, they have also earned several certifications including the "Advanced DAX for Microsoft Power BI Desktop" from Udemy in February 2023, the "Data Science Professional Certificate" from Coursera in October 2020, the "Databases and SQL for Data Science with Python" from Coursera in June 2020, the "Project Management Workshop" from the Project Management Institute in March 2015, and the "Fundamentals of Engineering" certification from NCEES in 2013.
