Zaid Al.safadi

Zaid Al.Safadi has over 10 years of work experience, starting in 2011. Zaid began their career at PepsiCo Jordan, where they worked as a Service Desk Engineer from September 2011 to June 2013. Zaid then progressed to the role of Service Center Specialist and MENA Change Coordinator from November 2015 to July 2016. During this time, Zaid demonstrated a strong understanding of ITIL concepts and supported day-to-day tickets while also managing and supporting servers and Active Directory in Jordan. Zaid also played a key role in incident management and collaborated with the network team.

In 2016, Zaid joined Middle East Broadcasting Center (MBC) as an IT Support Engineer. In this role, they provided technical support to the organization and worked on various projects across the MENA region. Zaid's responsibilities expanded to include being a DevOps Engineer, where they built and maintained a complex infrastructure with over 300 servers and microservices on AWS cloud. Zaid also demonstrated expertise in implementing highly secure, compliant, and resilient solutions in the Cloud. Additionally, Zaid built and maintained CI/CD pipelines using various tools and technologies such as Jenkins, Packer, Ansible, and AWS CodePipeline.

Zaid Al.Safadi recently transitioned to the position of Senior Cloud and DevOps Engineer at MBC as of July 2021.

Zaid Al.Safadi obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Al-Balqa Applied University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their degree, Zaid has obtained several certifications. Zaid became a HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate in December 2021, completed a course in Learning Ansible through LinkedIn in July 2018, and achieved the AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2018.
