Michael Bediones has a strong background in real estate development, asset management, and financial analysis. Michael most recently worked as the Vice President of Asset Management at Middleburg Communities starting in March 2022. Prior to that, they served as an Asset Management Associate at the same company from September 2020 to March 2022.
Before joining Middleburg Communities, Michael worked at Rockefeller Group as a Development Associate from September 2019 to July 2020. In this role, they managed a development pipeline of various types of assets valued at over $1 billion and conducted financial analysis for acquisitions and financing opportunities.
From March 2016 to September 2019, Michael held the position of Development, Acquisitions & Asset Management Associate at Douglas Development Corporation. Michael gained experience in all aspects of development and asset management during their time at the company.
Michael's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Financial Analyst at The Greysteel Company from December 2014 to March 2016, where they closed over $300 million in transactions. Michael specialized in both market rate and affordable housing deals and was responsible for monitoring compliance and creating offering memoranda.
Michael's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration focused on Real Estate Finance and Development from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business, where they were a charter member and co-founder of Georgetown Business & Government Club and Georgetown Real Estate Organization.
Michael Bediones earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Tufts University. Michael also attended UCL, where they studied Psychology as well. Michael has a High School Diploma from Punahou School. Additionally, they completed an MBA program at Georgetown University McDonough School of Business. Michael has also obtained a Real Estate License in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Hawaii. In terms of additional education, Michael participated in a Summer Programme in International Management and Development at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
