Charlotte Xu

Charlotte Xu is currently a GIS Lab/Teaching Assistant at Middlebury College, where employment began in February 2023. In addition to this role, Charlotte has experience as a Dolci Prep Chef, Knoll Intern, and Dining Hall Worker, with responsibilities including the preparation and dispensing of vegan ice cream. Charlotte has been a member of the Roots & Shoots Youth Council at the Jane Goodall Institute since January 2021. Upcoming professional experience includes a Kitchen Stage position at Mistral in June 2024. Recent internship experience includes a Tropical Ecology Internship at the Federal University of Ceara (June 2023 - August 2023), focusing on agroforestry plot assessments and mangrove reforestation, along with cataloging seed banks and preparing leaf specimens for archives. Charlotte is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies & Geography at Middlebury College, expected to graduate in 2026, following a diploma from West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North (2018 - 2022).
