Daniza Tazabekova

Daniza Tazabekova is an experienced organizer actively working for the campaign of Zohran Mamdani, aiming to elect New York City’s first progressive mayor. Currently studying at Middlebury College, Daniza has engaged in various roles such as Conflict Transformation Peer Facilitator, Economics Research Assistant, and Equity Fellow, focusing on issues like abortion access and discrimination. Daniza also leads MiddVotes, a nonpartisan organization promoting civic engagement, and is involved in multiple internships and committee positions, including an Undergraduate Legal Intern at the Office of the Defender General and a Board Member for the Sonia & Celina Sotomayor Judicial Internship Program. A dedicated advocate for equity and democracy, Daniza has contributed valuable research and community outreach initiatives while pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government, alongside English studies.
