Dorothea Volpp is a post baccalaureate fellow at McLean Hospital, starting in June 2024. Currently serving as a neuropsychology research assistant at Middlebury College since August 2021, Dorothea is engaged in an experiment on semantic priming effects and human EEG data analysis. Additional roles include medical anthropology research assistant for The Body Online, where the focus is on developing health education workshops on eating disorders for high school students, and academic consultant for Excellence (ACE) tutor, providing support in time management and study skills. Dorothea also coordinates a peer mentoring program, serves as an artistic contributor for The Middlebury Campus, and has held positions such as clinical research assistant at Boston Children's Hospital and intern at the University of Pennsylvania's Duckworth Lab. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from Middlebury College and study abroad experience in Denmark.
