Elaine Orozco Hammond

Elaine Orozco Hammond currently serves as the Director of Equity Initiatives at Middlebury College, a role focused on supporting historically marginalized students through various liaison and administrative responsibilities. Previously, Elaine managed the BOLD Women's Leadership Network at Middlebury College, enhancing women's career development and networking. Elaine's extensive experience also includes leadership positions at The Abramson Scholarship Foundation, where oversight of operations aimed to facilitate access to higher education for District of Columbia Public School graduates. Additional roles included research consulting, legal work in labor law, and educational positions, demonstrating a strong foundation in public service and advocacy. Elaine holds a J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from St. Mary's College of Maryland.
