Kristy Carpenter

Kristy Carpenter currently serves as the Associate Director of Residential Life at Middlebury College, a position held since August 2017, following previous roles including Assistant Director for New Student Experiences and Residential Education and Brainerd Commons Residence Director. Prior experience includes serving as Residence Director at Union College from September 2013 to July 2017 and as a Community Advocate at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where responsibilities included teaching a photography course and managing student services. Additionally, Kristy gained experience as a Graphic Designer at Harvard Student Agencies and held various roles at Harvard Dorm Crew, culminating in the position of Captain. Academically, Kristy earned a Master of Science in Education from The College of Saint Rose, a Master of Fine Arts from Rochester Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University, with studies also completed at the University of Brighton.
