Michelle McCauley

Michelle McCauley, PhD, serves as the Executive Vice President and Provost at Middlebury College since September 1995, where responsibilities include teaching and mentoring students while promoting interdisciplinary research on environmental challenges. In addition, Michelle holds the position of Director at the KWD Collaborative in Conflict Transformation and serves as the Psychology Department Chair at the Vermont Center for Behavioral Science Research in Climate & Environment, a role commenced in July 2021. Michelle has previous experience as Co-Director at DIS - Study Abroad and as a Visiting Professor in Fall 2017. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology from Florida International University and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Iowa.
