Gregory Retz

Gregory Retz is an experienced culinary and business development professional currently serving as the Director of Culinary and Sales at Middleby Marshall since March 2024 and the Director of Restaurant Development for Mooreland Development/RW FandB since October 2022. Previously, Gregory held positions such as Corporate Chef/Business Development Manager at Regal Springs, where a new corporate culinary team was created, and Regional Executive Chef at Compass Group, managing a culinary team across 168 units in North Florida. Additional roles include Director of Culinary Innovation at FreshRealm, Director of New Concept Development at Southeastern Grocers, General Manager at Meriwether Godsey, and Food Service Director/Executive Chef at Beth Sholom Village. Gregory holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Nutrition and Foods from Virginia Tech and an Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University.
