Vijayant (VJ) Rajvanshi, AICP has a diverse range of work experience in the field of transportation and program management. Vijayant (VJ) started their career as a Planning Intern at RITES LTD, where they conducted detailed evaluations of state highway usage and analyzed traffic volume data. Vijayant (VJ) then worked as a Planning Intern at Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority, gaining practical experience in urban planning. In 2002, they joined Infrastructure Professionals Enterprise (P) Ltd as an Associate Planner, where they conducted Training Needs Assessments for municipal governments and developed training materials for staff. Vijayant (VJ) also served as a Project Manager for the UNICEF-supported Polio Program, managing finance and HR divisions and recruiting personnel. In 2008, VJ joined AECOM, initially as a Planning Intern and later as a Community and Transportation Planner. Their responsibilities included working on transportation projects focusing on land use, railway planning, and statewide transportation planning in Arizona. Vijayant (VJ) also served as a Project Manager and Senior Transportation Planner at AECOM, where they managed the Context Sensitive Solutions component of the I-49 Lafayette Connector project in Louisiana. In 2020, VJ joined Middlesex County, NJ - County Government, initially as the Deputy Director of Planning before being promoted to the Director of Program Management and later Director of Transportation Network Operations. In these roles, they established the Office of Program Management, implemented program management dashboards, and automated project approval processes. Vijayant (VJ) was also involved in the grant application for the Southern Middlesex County Comprehensive Freight Movement Study and co-led the County's Destination 2040 Strategic Plan effort.

Vijayant (VJ) Rajvanshi, AICP completed their Bachelor of Planning in Urban Planning at the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi from 1998 to 2002. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Urban & Regional Planning at the University of Iowa from 2006 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications, including the NCI Charrette Management and Facilitation Certificate Training and the NCI Charrette System Certificate Training from the National Charrette Institute in October 2017. Furthermore, they achieved the Certified Planner (AICP) designation from the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) in April 2009.
