Steve Plank

Steve Plank serves as the Superintendent of Schools for the Burlington Area School District, overseeing a student body of over 3,100 across three counties since July 2019. Previously, Steve held the position of Principal at Middleton High School for the Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District from June 2014. Steve has extensive administrative experience, including roles as Principal at Lakes High School in Community High School District 117, Principal at Mary D. Bradford High School in Kenosha Unified School District #1, and Principal at Durand High School in the School District of Durand. Additionally, Steve was the Director of Fine Arts at Stevenson High School and has held previous positions as Associate Principal and Band Director at various schools. Steve's educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Administrative Leadership from Loyola University Chicago, a Master of Science in Administrative Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
