David Newton

David Newton is an experienced electrical engineer and consultant with a robust background in power systems and project management, currently serving as Principal Power Engineer and Mentor at Middleton Group since September 2016. David also operates as a Principal Consultant at David Newton Electrical Engineering since November 2015. Previous roles include Principal Regional Electrical Engineer and Chief Resident Electrical Engineer at CH2M, Project Electrical Engineer at United Water, Senior Electrical Project Engineer at KBR, Inc., and Electrical Engineer/Project Manager at SA Water. David began their career as an Electrical Design and Construction Engineer at Hawker Siddeley Engineering.
