Patrick Rogers has worked in the engineering field since 2017. Patrick began as a Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst where they conducted experiments and developed new procedures and test methods based on results. In 2017, they also held an internship as a Manufacturing Engineer at New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Inc. (NHBB), where they developed an automated process for a center-less grinding process for ball bearings. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Structural Engineer II at General Dynamics Electric Boat, where they analyzed and assessed structural and mechanical components for stress, vibration, fatigue, buildability, sustainment, and cost. Patrick also led multiple concurrent jobs that required delegating design work to team members and good communication with other discipline team leaders to ensure all system requirements were met. Currently, they are a Mechanical Engineer II at Mide Technology Corporation.
Patrick Rogers attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2013 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
