Scott Carlson

Scott Carlson has over 13 years of experience in the engineering field. Scott began their career in 2006 as a Computer Repair Technician at the University of Rhode Island. In 2009, they worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at ZF Group, followed by an Applications Engineer at Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence. In the same year, they were promoted to Development Engineer II, and later to Manager, Systems and Solutions Team. In 2019, they joined Mide Technology Corporation as a Mechanical Engineer III and was later promoted to Director of Mechanical Engineering.

Scott Carlson attended the University of Rhode Island from 2005 to 2010, earning both a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a B.A. in German Language. Scott then returned to the University of Rhode Island from 2012 to 2017, where they earned an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Control Systems.
