Jessica Stonecypher is an experienced agriculture instructor at MID-EAST CAREER AND TECHNOLOGY CENTERS, where curriculum design and instructional delivery for over 800 City School students in grades 7 to 10 have been a focus since August 2018. Stonecypher successfully adapted to remote learning during the pandemic, ensuring continuity in education. Prior to this role, Stonecypher served as a health educator at the Zanesville-Muskingum County Health Department, managing grant operations and developing community health programs. Experience as an urban agriculture specialist included advising on local food initiatives and significantly expanding urban agriculture in Muskingum County. Additional leadership experience includes serving as the director of family life ministries at Central Trinity United Methodist Church, planning community engagement events. Stonecypher holds a Master's degree in Practical Theology specializing in Ecology & Justice, a Bachelor's degree in Human Ecology, and a certificate in Career Technical Workforce Education.

The district offers a full-service preschool, more than 30 high school programs, a variety of in-demand career and technical Adult Education programs, and opportunities for adult learners to earn their high school equivalencies!
