Carla Scott

Carla Scott, CPA, currently serves as the Internal Audit Manager at MidFirst Bank since January 2020. Prior experience includes the role of Director of Sarbanes-Oxley at Gulfport Energy Corporation from April 2014 to January 2020 and Director of Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance at Sonic Drive-In from February 2008 to April 2014, where leadership was provided for the Corporate Accounting Function and oversight of compliance. Carla also worked as a Senior Consultant at Stinnett & Associates between September 2002 and February 2008, delivering consulting and assurance services in areas such as 404 Compliance and SEC Reporting for various clients within the energy and industrial sectors. Early career experience includes serving as a Senior Auditor at Clothier and Company from 1991 to 1997, managing external audit projects for nonprofit organizations and municipal clients. Carla holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma.
