Kristen Getzin is an experienced professional in education and program coordination, currently serving as the STEM Coordinator at Midland Center for the Arts since February 2015. Previous roles include Youth Coordinator at Mahaska County YMCA, where responsibilities included planning and evaluating after-school programs, and Outdoor Education Coordinator at Flat Rock River YMCA Camp. Earlier career experiences encompass research and curatorial roles with institutions such as Weintraut & Associates Inc. and the Eiteljorg Museum. Kristen holds a Master's degree in Public History with a Museum Studies Certificate from Indiana University Indianapolis, as well as a Bachelor of Science in History and Anthropology from Grand Valley State University.
