Joshua Wimberley

Joshua Wimberley is a dedicated educator and experienced professional with a diverse background in teaching, coaching, and safety management. Currently serving as a Health Science Dual Credit Instructor at Midland College since January 2024, Joshua specializes in Human Body Systems, Medical Terminology, and Medical Communication. Previously, as Head Coach of the Rebel Speech & Debate Team and CTE Graphics Design and Health Science Instructor at Midland Legacy High School from August 2019 to September 2023, Joshua contributed significantly to the school following its rebranding. Joshua's extensive teaching experience also includes roles at Midland Lee High School and Bonham Middle School, where Joshua taught various subjects and coached multiple sports teams. Additionally, Joshua has a background in safety management as a Senior HSE Technician at Xpress Safety, and served as a Firefighter/Paramedic with the Odessa Fire Department. Joshua earned a Master of Education in Language Acquisition Theory and ESL Instruction from the University of Texas - Permian Basin and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas.
