Sarah McMeekin

Sarah McMeekin is an accomplished professional in governance and assurance, currently serving as the Director of Governance & Assurance at Midland Heart since July 2018. With extensive experience in risk management, internal audit, and corporate transactions, Sarah has held various leadership roles including Head of Assurance, Risk & Transactions, and Head of Strategy, Planning & Assurance. Previously, Sarah worked at Jaguar Land Rover as Head of Risk & Audit and served as Corporate Auditor at BAE Systems. Sarah's career began as a Senior Associate at PwC, where expertise was developed in internal and external assurance engagements across public sector clients. Academic qualifications include an ACA from ICAEW and degrees in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of York. Sarah also holds a Foundation Level certification in PRINCE2® Project Management.
