Amanda Akers possesses a comprehensive background in engineering, specializing in materials science and quality assurance. Currently serving as an R+D Quality Engineer II at Midmark Corporation since September 2019, Amanda Akers plays a key role in material selection and testing for medical devices, oversees environmental compliance documentation, and supports design verification processes. Prior experience includes roles as a Project Engineer at Current Engineering, Inc. and as a Metallurgical Engineer at Alcoa, where Amanda Akers focused on processing parameters and quality control. With a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Kentucky and various internships, Amanda Akers combines practical experience with a strong educational foundation.
