Marc van Ommen has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Marc is currently working at midocean as the Country Manager - Regional Sales Director since January 2017. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Sales & Retail Franchise at Gaastra International Sportswear from September 2015 to August 2016. Marc was also the International Sales Manager at Bos Group International from June 2014 to July 2015. Before that, they held multiple positions at Sole Technology Europe BV, including EMEA Sales Manager, Eastern European Sales Manager, European Sales Manager, NL Sales and Marketing, European Sales and NL Marketing, and European Customer Service. Marc began their career at Trendy Sports as Sales and Marketing from May 1996 to July 2006.
Marc van Ommen's education history includes several qualifications in the fields of marketing, presentation training, retail KPI training, and economics. In 1988, they completed their HAVO education, specializing in economics, business administration, and law. From 2004 to 2005, they pursued MBO Marketing, attaining a NIMA A degree in NIMA Marketing A. In 2005, they studied HBO Marketing, obtaining a NIMA B1 degree in NIMA Marketing B. In 2011, they underwent presentation training at M2 Retail, followed by retail KPI training in the same year.
