Coty Sifuentes-Winter has extensive experience in environmental management, particularly in native plant and habitat restoration. Currently serving as a Senior Resource Management Specialist at Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District since April 2015, responsibilities include assessing, protecting, and restoring ecosystems across multiple counties, with a focus on rare plant identification, invasive species control, and ecological monitoring. Previous roles include Natural Resource Specialist and Biological Science Technician at the National Park Service, where project management and habitat restoration were key focuses. Additional experience as a Forestry Technician for the US Forest Service involved enhancing aquatic habitats and managing erosion.
